Diodes introduces the industry's first in its class Schottky rectifier in the minimal DSN1406 2A package

     Diodes Corporation releases SDT2U30CP3 (30V/2A), SDT2U40CP3 (40V/2A), and SDT2U60CP3 (60V/2A) Schottky rectifiers that achieve the industry's highest current density in their class with low forward voltage drop and thermal resistance. Overcoming design challenges for smaller and more efficient portable, mobile and wearable devices. This series of innovative high-current grooved Schottky rectiators are available in a chat-scale package (CSP) that takes up only 0.84mm² of board space and can be used as choke or reverse polarity protection diodes, boost diodes and switching diodes.

     These three products are the first designed to use X3-DSN1406-2 package 2A trench Schottky rectifier, becoming the industry in the same class of products active small products; Compared to similar SMB package devices, these three products occupy only 3.4% of the PCB area. The ultra-thin CSP package, with a typical size of 0.25mm, also shortens the heat path, enhances power dissipation performance, and ultimately reduces the cost of the heat transfer bill of Materials and significantly improves overall system reliability.
